Company background

With more than 30 international suppliers, and over a 1000 different bottles, we give our clients the opportunity to perform 'one-stop-shopping' when it comes to getting special bottles on the shelves.

We deal mainly with small independent bottlers and family owned companies, that put quality before quantity and where respect for the craft and traditions are maintained.
We make it our duty to taste and evaluate everything before importing, so that our clients can rely on us, to always deliver the finest quality.

The company is structured as an 'ApS', a Danish company type, a hybrid between a Ltd and a Shareholders company, and has an Advisory Board consisting of profesionals from different business areas (IT, Satelite Communication, Finance and Software Development).
The Management has extensive knowledge and experience from working for several years as a software engineer, business developer and consultant, as well as 25 years of experience with building and running companies.

We employ a Managing Director (David Larsson), an Operations Manager (Lars Benjaminsen), a Sales Manager (Henriette Echwald) who's also in charge of accounting, one in Administration (Claus Borup), four Salesmen (Richard, Gert, Torben and Anders), as well as a few part time helpers doing tastings and attending fairs etc.

The Company is located in Herlev, some 15 minutes outside the center of Copenhagen, close to the main road, and has more than 600m2 of warehouse, tasting room, showroom and offices.

Qualityworld is supplying hundreds of the very best shops, bars and restaurant across Denmark, making sure they have a fine and dynamic assortment of the very best spirits available. And by continouesly peforming in-store events, tastings and dealer-seminars, we ensure that our clients possess the required knowledge to sell high-end bottles and to be able to pass on the stories and anecdotes connected to each and every bottle.

Sales and marketing efforts - past, present and future

To maximize the exposure of the brands we represent, while taking care of the marketing budget (most of our bottles are very limited in quantities and thus traditional marketing wont be a viable solution), we host or attend more than a hundred different tradeshows, fairs, markets, tastings, lectures, dinners and other types of events.
We attend The Nordic Art Fair in Forum Copenhagen where we serve tasting samples to private clients and tell about our philosophy and the range of products we import, as well as give all visitiors our brochure and list of shops and bars that sell the bottles. At Tema/FoodExpo (both at Bellacenter Copenhagen and Conference Center Herning) we always have a stand, presenting our range of spirits to the leading bars, restaurants and hotels across the country, giving the professional clients an overview of our products and services and entering new territory.
To reach even more private clients we have been attending The Copenhagen Air Fair in KB Hallen in a special edition called "Art, Food & Wine", we have been at all of the Wining & Dining fairs across Denmark (in Copenhagen, Odense, Aalborg and Aarhus) all 4 places every year, with visitor numbers between 25.000 and 45.000 at each fair !
Twice a year we attend the Formland tradeshow aimed at giftshops, speciality shops, art shops, tourist shops etc., where we present our range to thousands of potential new clients, as well as taking orders from existing clients to restock their shelves.
Furthermore we attend in-store events in several major shops, including Salling, Vinoble Odense, Vinoble Aarhus, Vinspecialisten, Inco Denmark, Bjergtrolden, Marius Mortensen, Skjoldburne Stenløse and many many more.

We also do tastings and lectures both in-house in our own tastingroom (handling up to a hundred people) and for companies across the country, and we have been at all the major newspapers and companies in Denmark doing tastings for the subscribers or employees (including amongst others Hilton Hotel, Politiken, Berlingske, Beiersdorff, Arla Overseas, Devoteam, Ely Lilly, Ementor, Valtech, Esco Graphics, FL Schmidt, Danske Bank, Nordea, Maconomy, Motorola, Salling, Scandic, Telia Networks, Thrane & Thrane, Tupperware, Widex and many many more)
Qualityworld has also been at the forefront arranging Tequila events, Blending Schools and Whisky Dinners at both The Hilton Copenhagen Airport, and at the horse racing track in Copenhagen.
To further the sales effort we have 4 people travelling in Denmark, presenting our products to shops, bars and restaurants - generating new clients and servicing existing ones, pouring samples and taking orders.

Once we have the details we'll need samples of the products for our tasting panel.
Please bare in mind that we'll need and agreement of exclusivity for the Danish market, since we only work as exclusive imports for our brands - this is due to the fact that introducing a new product on the Danish market requires considerable investments.
